This is a rare example of this style of the popular Tdi Quattro, owned by us from being an Audi Demonstrator at 4000 miles. It drives beautifully, lots of torque/power and great roadholding. Full service history with Audi and then a very experienced local garage - very well maintained. A very unlucky incident meant that the accessory belt failed and was drawn into the cambelt causing a mistimed engine, and bent crankshafts. We bought it back, sourced a much lower mileage engine from a crashed Scirroco (47,000 miles) and had it professionally swapped in - new clutch, cam belt, accessory belt, water pump, gaskets etc. The vehicle was fully serviced and MOT'd. Been on SORN since then. Has had a few stone chips, bumper marks etc professionally resprayed, and the bodywork is in excellent condition. All 4 alloys fully refurbished, and look like new. The battery has just needed recharged and suspect because sitting for a while, but will stick in a new battery to be sure. Only one key found so far - we will keep looking for the spare!
