Audi TT 225 Quattro BAM, FSH (Just Serviced), Long MOT, Remapped to 260BHP LOOK

FSH (Just Serviced) 1.8T Audi TT 225BHP Quattro (4WD) with APR stage 1 remap to 260BHP. One advisory - slight play in ball joint.

Cam belt done at 53997 and 82012 miles (next due at 132012). Clutch done at 69919 miles. Haldex and filter done twice (next due 110000 miles). Only three owners before me; was in the same family for about 8 years prior to my ownership. Full service history - Ive just given it an oil and filter change, air filter, fuel filter and pollen filter service in the last two weeks. Meticulous service history - full and complete to Audi specification. Service history with Audi 2001 to 2008 then specialist from 2008 to 2020. I have a detailed itemisation of the service history and all the invoices / receipts. Audi Wallet and manuals present with service book stamped and up to date. As far as service histories go, this car has about as comprehensive and thorough a service history as you are likely to find on a TT.

Expensive stainless steel cat back exhaust system - sounds amazing, very throaty! Pipercross Washable panel air filter (just clean with soapy water and leave to dry, no oil spray needed). The car would then revert to a 2001 number plate. Number plate available for sale on a different listing (make an offer) if you're interested in that. The car has recently been clay barred, polished and waxed.

I have just bought replacement alloy wheels for it (same style as the current ones) which are in decent / reasonable condition, certainly better than the current ones (which are kerbed and scuffed). These extra alloy wheels are available by separate negotiation IE the car comes with its current alloys.

Interior is great for a 19 year old car - these Audi interiors are such good quality and age well, still looking modern. Ive nourished the leather and fitted a good DAB Sony headunit that has Bluetooth and hands free. I've used SLine leather keyring and magnets to fix the cubby hole lid catches, which always break on TTs. Exterior is pretty good, but there are various stone chips and a number of marks consistent with what you'd expect of a 19 year old car. I have touched these in touch up paint and they're not easily spotted.

No visible rust, but some slight bubbling to lower part of wheel arch. No remedial action needed yet, but eventually you'd grind the bubbles off, treat with Krust, mask it up and paint an area of about 4 x 1cm. Excellent MOT history (check on VOSA) with long MOT until March with one small advisory of slight play in a ball joint.

I have, however, got a bucket list of cars that I want to have tried and owned Ive had about 20! Ive enjoyed improving this car and would like to keep it, but everything in life has a price and our kids are going to be too big for the back soon. Perhaps I need to try an Audi RS6 Avant next.. Any inspection welcome - bring a mechanic or AA / RAC car checker.

If the car is not what you expect when you turn up, or you are unhappy about anything to do with it you can walk away without recourse. Air con not particularly cold. Passenger window sometimes won't do'one touch' close (IE you need to keep your finger on button to close).

Evidence of usual rocker cover gasket leaks wasn't mentioned on the last MOT and is VERY common with this 1.8T engine used on TTs, A3s, S3s, Leons, Golf R32s etc. Climate control display sometimes blinks (perhaps the connector needs a spray of contact cleaner). Slight rattle from boot lid when going over bumps might be trim rattle, although TTs are know to rattle a bit! Alloys kerbed (better replacement ones available by separate negotiation). To be clear, the oil level light has flickered on twice and gone out straight away - I'd imagine that there might be some sediment in the sump that has got onto the sensor.

Sometimes, new oil (I've used the OEM spec Shell Helix 5W-30) can upset sensors if its a different viscosity to the one used previously. No warning lights on dash. Ill take you on a test drive if we both wear masks use hand sanitiser etc.
